Our quality program emphasizes continual improvement.  We have maintained certification to ISO 9000 since 1994 and are currently certified to ISO 9001:2000.

Quality Policy  

Supplying high quality precision stampings is fundamental to our business strategy.  Our products must consistently meet all the requirements of applicable product specifications and other customer expectations.  Our goal is zero defects:  to produce 100% good quality products the first time and every time, thereby avoiding the "unquality" costs of excessive inspection, rework, rejections, returns and field failures.  Quality-conformance to specifications will be monitored at every step in the process, and the resultant data used for process control and definition of process capabilities employing statistical methods.  We intend to continually improve quality to achieve zero defects. 

To achieve our stated policy, we have implemented a documented quality system and a quality management team to carry out the procedures of the quality management system in conformance with ISO 9001:2000.

Equally important to achieving complete customer satisfaction is providing a high level of service support.  We will be available, responsive, and sensitive to special customer requirements at all times to the fullest extent possible.

Management is committed to providing the leadership and support required for VEC to meet our quality objectives and to be recognized as a quality supplier.  Quality interest will be of prime consideration in every strategic decision, and will not be subordinated to any other corporate objective.  It is understood and accepted that management must play a key role in creating and sustaining an environment for quality excellence, and we will actively promote and endorse our quality program at every opportunity.
